C&G Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair L3
This course is designed for those who have already completed a L2 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification and are interested in developing their skills further. This qualification will assist in your progression to become a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician and you will develop and practice the skills required for employment and career progression. Throughout this course you will study a range of skills in diagnosing and rectifying system faults.

A full L2 Motor Vehicle diploma qualification and English and Math GCSE grade 4 and above or equivalence will be considered.
Students engage in enrichment activities, project-based learning, and benefit from strong industry connections through employer links, employability events and discussions on apprenticeships and career progression. A requirement of at least 35 hours of work experience is part of the program. For safety, students must purchase personal protective equipment, such as steel-capped boots and appropriate workwear.
Upon completing a Level 3 Motor Vehicle programme, students can pursue various career opportunities in the Motor Vehicle industry, Motor Vehicle Technician. For further study, students may progress to a L4 programme, or to an EV qualification to deepen their skills and knowledge. Apprenticeships, as well as NVQs in related fields, provide additional pathways for career advancement.
Assessment methods include classroom-based learning, where theoretical lessons are supervised by the teacher and practical training, which involves hands-on activities guided by qualified instructors. Continuous evaluation ensures that students' skills are developed properly, with assessments conducted under direct supervision throughout the program.
