All Apprenticeship Standards are created in partnership with employers to reflect the real skills and knowledge needed in each industry.

At Croydon college, we work closely with local and regional employers to shape the training that supports both learner progression and workforce development.

Apprenticeships are open to anyone aged 16 and over who has left full-time education and is employed. As an apprentice, you’ll earn a wage while developing your skills, gaining hands-on experience and achieving a nationally recognised qualification.

You can start an apprenticeship if:

  • You are aged 16 or above
  • You live in England
  • You are not in full-time education
  • You are employed

Apprenticeships are available at a range of levels depending on your previous study or experience. There are no tuition fees, as training is funded by your employer and the government.
