Understanding course fees can feel complicated, as costs vary depending on your age, previous qualifications, the course you choose, and your residency status. During your application, our Admissions and Finance teams will review your individual circumstances and confirm at enrolment whether you qualify for a fee reduction or if fees apply.

Course Fees

For courses lasting more than one year, the fee shown applies to the full duration unless stated otherwise.

Please note: Fee information may change in line with government policy. Applicants who receive an offer will receive the most up-to-date details.

Will I Have to Pay for My Course?

Learners Aged 16–18

If you are aged 16–18 on 31 August, you will not usually need to pay tuition fees for your course.

Learners Aged 19 and Over

Funding for adult courses is based on a range of eligibility rules set by national and local authorities. Depending on your circumstances at the start of your course, you may be entitled to full or partial funding, or you may need to pay tuition fees.

Your eligibility will be assessed when you apply, and we will outline your options before you enrol.

English & Maths (GCSE and Functional Skills)

Most learners will not need to pay for GCSE or Functional Skills Maths or English unless they already hold a grade A*–C / 9–4 qualification.
