I chose this Photography course because my goal is to build a career as a professional photographer and eventually run my own business. I already take photos for weddings and events, and this course gives me the technical skills, creativity, and real industry experience I need to take my work to the next level.
Croydon College is close to where I live, and I heard really good things about the Creative Arts department. After looking into the course, I felt it was the best place for me to grow as a photographer and develop a strong foundation for my future business.
I really enjoy the practical side of the course — especially working in the studio, experimenting with different equipment, and getting hands-on experience with professional photography techniques. It’s helped me grow my confidence and improve my work for the weddings and events I already photograph.
The teachers are amazing. They’re supportive, knowledgeable, and always willing to give detailed feedback that helps me improve. They listen to our ideas and encourage us to push our creativity further, which has been really helpful for my development.
This is my third year studying, and I want to continue learning and progressing with another qualification. I’m hoping to grow my part-time photography work even more while I study, and eventually I want to run my own photography business full-time.
