I had heard positive feedback and reviews from my members of family who had been to Croydon College which influenced my decision to come here. The great location also played an important role in my choice of college. I have been interested in Business Studies since I was in year 11 but when I chose my A Levels I picked different subjects because I thought they were what universities preferred. This was a mistake and I decided to turn back to my main interest and develop myself within that course and gain the skills I need in order to advance myself in life. The extra-curricular activities available at college particularly draw my interest, knowing the college is rights respecting with their partnership with UNICEF UK, as well as activities like self-defence classes.
I chose to become student president as I am enthusiastic about representing the views of others and ensuring that all students have a great experience at the college. As student president, I enjoy sitting amongst the College governing body, representing the voice of all of the students as well as learning from the governors.
I want to go on to study Law at university and I am aiming for a training contract with a top law firm.
