At Croydon College, learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. We provide a whole range of fantastic opportunities to suit your interests and career aspirations. The great thing is that by taking part you’ll boost your confidence, develop your personal skills and become more self-reliant – just the sort of qualities that employers are looking for.
We hold an annual Enrichment Fair at the start of each academic year where you can find out what’s available and sign up for activities.
The four elements of the Enrichment Programme are:
- successful learners
- responsible citizens
- active participants
- confident individuals
There is also weekly session work, alongside the main programme. Your personalised course is designed to boost your self-esteem and prepare you for the world of work. It also promotes a greater sense of ‘belonging’ in the College and the wider community.
All students receive a Certificate of Achievement each half-term, acknowledging their successes, accomplishments, attendance and punctuality.
Cross-college events include:
- Cultural Awareness Month
- International Women’s Day
- Red Nose Day
- Refugee Week
- World AIDS Day

Student Common Room
The Student Common room is a great place to relax during your lunch break and hang out with friends.
Eat your lunch while playing board games, using the games consoles, going online or simply reading a newspaper or magazine! Many students use the study space as well as booking the venue for student-led events and project planning meetings.
Chaplaincy
The College Chaplains offer support and spiritual guidance to everyone who studies or works here at Croydon College. The Multi Faith Room is available to all members of the College community.
