We are working to keep our College as safe as possible. Testing for those without coronavirus symptoms has begun across the country using new, quicker COVID-19 tests known as ‘lateral flow tests’. The tests are quick and easy and the results are produced after 30 minutes from testing.

Along with the other protective measures we are taking, staff testing is now successfully underway with student testing expected to begin soon. These tests will help to stop the virus from spreading in the College and keep staff and students safe.

Following the establishment of staff testing, Croydon College Principal and CEO, Caireen Mitchell said ‘A massive congratulations to everyone involved in the establishment of the testing centre for asymptomatic staff and students. My first lateral flow test at the college went smoothly; the test centre feels incredibly professional and safe, and throughout my experience I was supported by knowledgeable and friendly staff.’

Another member of staff said, ‘I would definitely encourage others to participate in the testing, quick, easy and another fantastic way in which we can try to keep our College environment a safe one for all students and staff.”
