I chose to study at University Centre Croydon due to it being local as I have two children who I need to take to school, and because I have been able to continue working alongside my degree. I had been working in childcare for ten years and I wanted to get a degree to build on my knowledge and to improve my career. The lecturers have always been very friendly and welcoming and now I hope to become a speech and language therapist once I have finished my course.
