I wanted to come to Croydon College because of its reputation and because of the opportunities that if offers to its students through the Student Life and Enrichment activities. I decided to get involved with Student Life at the College to gain new experiences and to help my community as well as people internationally. I’m reading at the Power of Words Conference with the UNICEF Steering Group and I am also a Refugee Week Ambassador, working with Counterpoints Arts and the Refugee Council. I enjoy being able to give back to my community and I like that we work together as a team, no matter who’s in charge. In the future I would like to work with refugees and migrant organisations.
