I chose Croydon School of Art because of the facilities that the university has to offer and because of the small tutor-to-student ratio which I felt would give me more support. What I enjoy most about being here is the ability to mix with other students who are creatively based, yet not on my course, as well as being able to mix many different ideas together. I originally wanted to study photography but I chose the BA Fine Art course instead because if offered me a more independent and explorative approach which would help me to further develop my skills and apply them to the working world. On this course I am able to try many things outside of my comfort zone but also, with the support of the tutors, I am able to understand my own intentions further and create something that I never would have expected. In the future I would still like to be creating artwork and hopefully be able to show it in galleries and have my own exhibitions.
