Student Profiles

The reason that I chose to do this Apprenticeship in Business and Administration is because I had studied business previously at college and, as I originally did not want to go straight to university, I wanted to have the opportunity to learn while I earned. The best aspect of the apprenticeship at Croydon University Hospital was meeting different people and having the opportunity to work with people who I may not have had the chance to meet had I taken a different route. Also the support provided by Croydon College was a great help. My apprenticeship allowed me to develop a variety of skills, such as my communication skills, organisation skills and teamwork, as well as working independently. After I had completed my apprenticeship, I attended university where I studied business with human resource management whilst continuing to work at Croydon University Hospital in my free time. I now hope to start my CIPD in September and then I would like to work my way up the HR hierarchy.
