Students from our School of Business, Community and Science have been out and about this week.

Level 2 and Level 3 Business and Travel students demonstrated their business and organisational skills by arranging their own cultural visit to Barcelona.  They have relaxed on the beach, tried the local cuisine and visited all the famous sights on the bus tour.  As well as visiting the famous Sagrada Familia church and took a stroll down Barcelona’s most famous street, Las Ramblas.

It was great to watch them work together using the knowledge they have gained through their course to put together this great trip.

The Level 2 Business students visited the Houses of Parliament for a very informative guided tour of the building.  They had the opportunity to visit both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, to find out about the history of parliament and the role of Queen.

They were overwhelmed with the size of the building and the amazing architecture, paintings and statues.  The visit culminated in an interactive workshop session on laws and voting.

To find out more about our Business and Travel Course you can register for our next Open Event on 26 June 2019 here.
