Student Profiles

I decided to come to Croydon College because it is well-known and it provides a high-standard education - a friend of mine told me that it is a college that enable you to pursue your ambitions. I chose to become a part of the UNICEF Steering Group because of the good work that it does which develops you as a person, since we gain many skills from it. I have enjoyed the speaking training that we have been given and being part of the ESOL conference. My first year at College was the most exciting even though it was challenging because English is not my first language. While I was studying I also took part in social activities, which gave the opportunity to build my confidence and public speaking. I also like the environment and the atmosphere of the college. Moreover, I enjoyed UNICEF as it was a nice environment with a mixture different cultures. When I finish my course here, I hope to go to university to study international business.
