‘I’ve applied, what happens next?’
If you are 19+ applying for FE course:
1st STEP – APPLICATION (EMAIL/ONLINE, IN PERSON, BY POST)
To apply to study at Croydon College, academic year 2018/19, please search for your course of interest and click the ‘Apply Now’ button on the course page.
Please only apply for one course – you can discuss different options with our expert staff at your visit to college if you are unsure which course is right for you.
You can also have a look at our prospectus, or the relevant course information on this website, to help you make your decision.
You can also pick up a paper version of application form at the main reception of Croydon College and return it to the staff or email the scanned version to admissions@croydon.ac.uk.
2nd STEP – INFORMAL APPOINTMENT DATE CONFIRMED
Within 5 working days of submitting your application you will receive a letter confirming the date for your informal appointment with the tutor where you will be able to get further information about your course.
If you are interested in other courses, tell the tutor at your appointment and we will arrange further meetings for you.
If you cannot attend your appointment, please contact our Admissions team to re-book.
3rd STEP – CONDITIONAL/UNCONDITIONAL OFFER
After you attended your informal appointment with the tutor, we will send you an official letter confirming your conditional/unconditional offer.
Some courses have additional entry requirements to GCSE results, such as practical assessment or a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service).
Check if you’ll be working with young children or vulnerable adults.
4th STEP – WELCOME DAY
Welcome Day will take place on Tuesday 3rd July 2018. This will give you the opportunity to meet your tutors, meet other students and experience the College and your new study programme. Information will be sent via post and email to confirm the schedule for the day.
5th STEP – ENROLMENT
Enrolment will take place between the 22nd and 24th August 2018. We will send you a letter confirming the exact dates/times and the documents required for the enrolment process via post and email.
Your programme of study will commence at the start of September 2018, details will be provided during enrolment.
Your grades may be better or worse than you had expected – whatever your results we will talk with you to make sure you are enrolled on the most appropriate course.
