On the 3 November, T Level and Engineering Level 2 BTEC students attended the Advanced Engineering Show in Birmingham. The show is the UK’s leading annual gathering of OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and engineering supply chain professionals.

This was a great opportunity for students to engage with OEM professionals from seven different specialist areas of engineering. The students got to see the latest developments in the industry first hand and witnessed demonstrations and talks from industry leading organisations.

A wide range of engineering companies exhibited products. Keynote speeches from stakeholders in the aero, auto, composite and manufacturing industry kept the students engaged. The students also learned about the newer green powered electric vehicles and sustainability. Overall, the students found the trip enjoyable and informative.
