Students at Croydon College are celebrating after receiving their BTEC results today.
The pass rate at the College improved on last year, with students successfully navigating lockdowns and restrictions leading to prolonged periods of homeschooling and little opportunity to work in-person with classmates and staff.
Among the students celebrating were Irah Redhead Ling, Charles Wyncoll, Sidonie Johnson and Barbara-Tena Sorko, who all achieved D*D*D* in their BTECs.
Croydon College Principal and CEO Caireen Mitchell said: “Congratulations to our students, who have shown their resilience and worked extremely hard this year. It’s clear their hard work, despite challenges, has paid off.
“I’m so proud of our students celebrating today and also extremely thankful for our staff who have, as always, gone above and beyond to ensure students achieved their full potential.”
Places are available on selected Croydon College courses for next year and there is still time to apply. For more information, and to secure your place, visit https://croydon.ac.uk/enrol-now/
