Novelist, Corporate Communications Consultant, and Freelance Writer, Chris Corbett has invited Coulsdon College and Croydon College students to attend his virtual careers event on Wednesday 10 February from 2pm.

Born in the UK and grandson of a best-selling author in 1920’s London as well as the first Artistic Director of the BBC, Chris has worked for Playboy Magazine, Walt Disney and on an Academy award-winning film. After moving to Switzerland, Chris has been engaged in corporate communications at several multinational organizations, contributed articles and photographs to various publications and had his fiction work published in a short story collection and novel.

Chris has invited Coulsdon College and Croydon College Students to attend this special virtual careers event to help inspire and guide them into how to own their futures. He will also be answering any questions that students send in before the event.

In addition to the virtual careers event on Wednesday 10 February, Chris has challenged students to submit an essay/poem/artwork in any medium that represents ‘Aspirations and Adventures’. All entries must be sent to Kathy.miller@coulsdon.ac.uk by Monday 1 March.

Results of the competition will be announced in late March and will be awarded with a signed copy of Chris’ novel.
