Croydon College and global construction consultancy company ISG have joined forces this month to put together a virtual work experience week for Construction students, giving them an opportunity to develop key skills and stand out from the crowd.

As part of the College’s World of Work programme, the Construction Virtual Work Experience Week (22-26 March) gave students invaluable insights into the industry through a range of online sessions and interactive activities using Microsoft Teams.

ISG, a global construction specialist, deliver places where people and businesses and thrive and want to inspire and encourage the next generation to pursue a career in construction.

The placement has given students the opportunity to learn more about ISG and the variety of roles available in the sector, with masterclasses from senior members of staff, site visits and career development workshops.

Every week a different cohort of students will participate in a range of online sessions and interactive activities using Microsoft Teams. These sessions are designed to help all our students gain invaluable insights into the industry they are interested in. See below for a list of calendar dates:

  • Construction Virtual Work Experience: Monday 22 – Friday 26 March
  • Creative Arts Virtual Work Experience: Monday 22 – Friday 26 March
  • Engineering and Science Virtual Work Experience: Monday 19 April – Friday 23 April
