Croydon College’s Vice Principal Training Skills & Higher Education, Fadia Clarke, has been appointed to the Develop Croydon board for 2022-24.

One of four new members on the board, Fadia will play a key role in deciding the direction, activities and finances of the 70+member Community Interest Company, which promotes Croydon as a location to invest, work and live.

Develop Croydon represents key stakeholders across the private, public and third sectors who want to contribute to the regeneration and economic growth of the borough, and members include landowners, occupiers, construction professionals, investors, service providers, developers and anyone else with a vested interest in Croydon and its long-term future.

Fadia said: “At Croydon College we are focused on, and driven by, the success of our students – both at our time with us and after they move to the next step of their careers.

“I’m really pleased to have been appointed to the board and play a role in directing the future of Develop Croydon and the people, businesses and organisations within it.”

Fadia joins NewPlace Director Joe Garner, Peter Sutcliffe, Director, Head of Building Engineering UK & Ireland, AECOM and Henry Riley CEO David Needham as the board’s newest members. They join the existing board, which is made up of:
