The nation continues to mourn the loss of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II. During her illustrious 70-year reign, Her Majesty ruled the country with pride and dignity. Never one to shy away from challenges, she always did what was best for the country.

To show our respects to Her Highness and the longest reigning monarch in British History, students at Croydon College spontaneously started to write lovely messages on a picture of the Queen that was placed in the atrium (see below):

 

A book of condolences was also placed at reception, which staff, students and visitors signed and paid their respects. It’s been moving to see how much the late Queen meant to so many in the Croydon College community. Thank you, ma’am.
