Why did you decide to study Art and Design at this level?

I was born to create. When I was little, I would be given various types of materials and start creating extraordinary pieces with it, leaving people amazed with what I had designed. After recognising I had a real gift in Art and Design, I knew that I wanted to go far with it.

What attracted you to Croydon College?

When my father and I visited Croydon College at an Open Event, we were kindly led on a personal tour around Croydon School of Art’s department. I was attracted to all of the wonderful equipment and art work that had been produced at the time. From that moment, I knew I would achieve so much if I studied here.

What have been your highlights whilst studying here so far?

I have proved to myself that I am capable of so much more than I ever expected. I can speak confidently around people I don’t know in different environments, such as answering questions in class, speaking in an interview and presenting a presentation to a large crowd. Croydon College has allowed be to build my skillset and knowledge appropriately so that I can kick start my career in art.

What are your future aspirations?

I would love to change the world’s view on art through my unique and creative ideas. I will continue to research ongoing creative careers so that I can find the one I would like to invest in. I’ll keep experimenting with my designs and attending workshops, exhibitions and galleries for inspiration.
