We’ve got some exciting news leading up to the New Year. Croydon College are introducing brand new Short Courses that allow you to develop an existing skill or develop a new one, all of which are free. Check out what you can apply for below.

These courses start on Wednesday 22 January 2020:

Introduction to Home Electrics is ideal for anyone with an interest in home DIY and wish to develop their electrical skills and knowledge. This course is on a Wednesday evening 6pm-8pm and lasts for 4 weeks.

Introduction to Basic IT Skills provides learners with an introduction to using computers, and are supported in developing their IT skills in software’s such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. This course is on a Wednesday evening 6pm-8pm and lasts for 6 weeks. Please note that the College is shut on Wednesday 19 February as this is Half Term week.

Introduction to Professional Make-up is ideal for those who would like to learn more about professional make-up, and provides an introduction to beauty, hand care, facial cleansing, toning and massages. This course is on a Wednesday evening 4:30pm-7:30pm and lasts for 4 weeks.

This course starts Monday 27th January to Friday 31st January 2020:

Into Hospitality is perfect for those that are interested in food, cooking and working in the hospitality industry. This is a week intensive course that covers basic food preparation and cooking skills.

This Course starts Monday 13th January to Friday 23rd January 2020:

Construction Pathways is ideal for those who are wishing to work in the construction industry on site or in other supportive roles. This 2 week intensive course will enable you to achieve a Level 1 in Health & Safety and CSCS Card as well as a Level 1 Construction and Employability Skills certificate.
