Local rap superstar Stormzy has returned with a seven minute epic musical masterpiece. In the video, the Croydon native features the family of musical entrepreneur, Jamal Edwards, who tragically passed away earlier this year, legends Soul II Soul, award winning grime artist Dave, Little Sims and many other greats.

Stormzy’s achievements as an artist are an inspiration to the next generation learning their craft, especially in his home town of Croydon. Students from the Croydon School of Art were asked to comment on the music influencer’s latest video for ITV news.

One student commented saying, “I think the purpose of all those appearances is to say that there are so many people to look up to; so many inspirations”.

Hearing the students’ feedback made it evident what a positive impact Stormzy had on them. If you have a passion for music and want to dive deeper into the world of music, check out our music courses and learn more at our open event on 5 November. You could be the next Stormzy.
