On Wednesday 13 April Croydon College is hosting a Construction, Engineering & Logistics Jobs Fair & Careers Advice Day.

From 9am, those interested in starting a career in the sector and the opportunities available to achieve within it by studying the multitude of courses on offer at the College, as well as meeting students, tutors, support staff and 14 employers – including London Square, Sir Robert McAlpine, Lendlease, IRS Ltd and Axis Europe – all of who will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice.

The College will have a presence with stands to help people with all our construction and engineering provision, along with a stand with employability skills courses promoted to provide support to unemployed residents who need CV/interview help.

There will be talks and Q&A sessions taking place at 10am, 11am and 12pm in Chefs Restaurant, looking at the many possible career paths in the construction industry; the technical jobs behind the trades and on-site apprenticeships and a new public art project they hope to launch this year.
