Chefs Restaurant, Croydon College’s in-house, public-facing, restaurant, where students prepare, cook and serve affordable lunches, has launched a new menu.

Open Wednesday-Friday 12noon- 2pm, The new menu sees a choice of grilled goat’s cheese salad with honey dried figs, rocket and a balsamic reduction, mackerel Nicoise with quails eggs, Jersey royal potatoes and grain mustard vinaigrette, or gluten free roasted tomato and basil soup with onion croutons as starter options, with three main course choices of slow cooked spiced pork belly, apple smoked chicken breast or a Thai vegetable curry.

Diners are also given a choice of lemon meringue tart with a burnt lemon gel and strawberry coulis, Paris Brest with hazelnut caramel or raspberry roulade with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Soft drinks are available to purchase, and diners can also bring their own wine/beer.

It costs just £10 for two courses and £15 for three courses.

Chefs also specialises in Afternoon Tea, which is available on request. Private bookings and corporate events can be catered for as well, providing bookings, with advance menu choices, are made with 48 hours notice.
