Croydon College’s very own Motor Vehicle lecturer has appeared in an advert that was aired over the Christmas period. The experienced lecturer was approached by Anna from Stark Casting who was looking for good role models who are currently teaching in further education settings.

The advert, commissioned by The Department of Education, was to boost recruitment of further education teachers by increasing awareness of the sector. Natalie jumped at the chance and also saw it as a great opportunity to highlight the Motor Vehicle industry. The lecturer stated, “It was a lot of fun! Attending a wardrobe session. The whole ‘lights, camera, action’ part lived up to what I hoped. All the people involved were really friendly and helped to make me feel relaxed. But it was nice knowing it’s all for an advert to encourage people into teaching in FE.”
