This year’s London Careers Festival, hosted by The City of London Corporation, will be delivered virtually between Monday 29 June and Friday 3 July 2020. You can get involved in a range of activities, including speaking with employers, developing fusion skills and gaining experiences of the workplace.

The aim of the event is to inspire you to think about your career goals where you can explore Apprenticeships, further education and other career opportunities. London Careers Festival recognises the importance of developing your ‘fusion skills’ to prepare you for the word of work. These are the skills that employers look for in the world of work now and in the future, so it is an important part of planning your future.

The festival is for students living in and around London and is completely free. The London Careers Festival website will showcase a curated list of resources for students and parents and guardians to access to find out more about their opportunities.

There are a variety of post-16 sessions of offer, including talks from Natwest, Investments 20/20, TechCentre, London South Bank University, Metropolitan Police and City Business Library. This is YOUR opportunity to:

  • Improve your understanding of the world of work
  • Get practical tips and advice from businesses and experts
  • Explore the skills needed to succeed
  • Find out about available career opportunities
  • Enhance your CV
  • Get inspired!
