Course: Level 2 Beauty Therapy Diploma

Why did you apply to Croydon College?

I applied to Croydon College because of its location and its ability to offer me exactly what I needed without having to travel far. Another reason I applied to Croydon College was because of the great feedback I had received whilst seeking information about different colleges.

Why did you choose to study Beauty and Therapy?

I have always had a love and passion for Beauty and Therapy and had longed for the opportunity to be able to pursue this course. When I became a mum 5 years ago, it dawned on me that I would have to put this passion off due to the timing and financial constraints; But I called the Croydon College Admissions Team, I was given the support to pursue the course. This is easily one of the best decisions I’ve made.

What opportunities have you experienced whilst studying here?

I have been able to establish a new social life outside of my family. I am not very big on having a lot of friends, but this course has allowed me to understand that accomplishing my goals is definitely possible.

What are you planning on doing after your studies?

After completing my Level 2 Beauty Therapy Diploma, I will be moving on to Level 3 Spa Therapy Diploma. Whilst doing this course, I will also be working part time to ensure that I am gaining relevant experience in my area of expertise.

Do you do any extra-curricular activities?

Yes, I have recently completed my work experience at the Pure Spa Purley and that was an amazing experience. I also own an online business where I have a team and we help people across 27 countries to improve their health and better develop healthy lifestyle changes. In addition, we also help other individuals who are looking for a job they can do all online around their present commitments to also become franchise partners.

Do you have any advice for future students?

Never lose sight of the goals you have set for yourselves. Even if it means achieving them later in life. Just remember that ‘delay’ does not mean ‘defeat’. Life is a beautiful journey and everything you do is leading you to ultimately becoming the person you desire. Always set goals, no matter how farfetched you might think they seem. Also, work hard, because words are nothing without action.

If you’re interested in any of our courses and require further information, come along to our Open Event on Thursday 26 March from 4:30pm-6:30pm, where you can explore your options.
