Electric Mayonnaise, in collaboration with Croydon College, successfully ran the Into Hospitality Short Course this month.

There was an 80% completion rate, with all learners taking part in an Immersion Day, where they were partnered with a top London restaurant to experience real-life work environments.

The response from all learners was fantastic, so as a result, the course will be running again on 16 March 2020!

If you are interested in a career in the hospitality industry, then this 5-day intensive course is perfect for you. The course will cover:

  • Introduction to Hospitality/ kitchens
  • Using kitchen equipment
  • Organisational skills
  • Food hygiene
  • Basic food preparation and cooking
  • Fruit and Veg

You will also have the chance to work in a top London restaurant or hospitality business for a day to experience a real life hospitality work setting.

To apply for the course, you must be:

  • Aged 19 or over
  • A UK resident for 3 years or more
  • Not enrolled in any other distance learning course with us

To enrol, you can come along to the College at any time, but there will be an official enrolment session on Monday 9 March 2020. You must bring with you:

  • We will need to see the following:
  • Passport or British Birth  Certificate
  • Proof of Residency Permits( if appropriate )
  • Proof of Benefits

Without these documents, you cannot be enrolled onto the course.
