HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE, CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE – Level 1
The Level 1 Introductory Certificate prepares students to improve their knowledge and study skills that will then enable them to undertake study at Level 2 in a subject area of their choice. The course combines some practical activities as well as theory to give students an overview of a wide range of subjects allowing them to build on their study skills.
HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE – Level 2
This course provide learners with the knowledge and understanding essential to the health and social care sector, supporting progression to further learning or the workplace.
HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE – Level 3
This course provide learners with the knowledge and understanding essential to the health and social care sector, supporting progression to further learning or the workplace. Upon achievement of this qualification, students will be able to access Higher Education and progress into a wide range of job roles within the health and social care sector.
ADULT CARE – Level 3
This course provides an ideal taster for learners who may be new to the sector or new to the world of work. It is accessible to learners of all ages who may want to understand more about working in health and social care. It aims to introduce some basic concepts of caring and preparation for employment in the sector.
EDUCATION & CHILDCARE (EARLY YEARS) – t level (16-18 only)
The course focuses on working with children from birth to 5 years old while gaining knowledge about the development of children up to age 7. Students attend college three days a week and complete their placement at a school nursery, reception class, or private day nursery for two days weekly.
suppporting healthcare – t level (16-18 only)
This qualification is structured into two parts: a Core Component, where you’ll develop essential knowledge and skills for supporting healthcare, and an Occupational Specialism in Adult Nursing. Topics include healthcare operations, safety regulations, infection control, clinical practice, data management, teamwork, and reflective practice, preparing you for a career in health and science
