Why did you apply to Croydon College?

At Croydon College, every single student is a priority for teachers who give their time and effort to ensure we succeed. For me, this means I’ll be taught by the best in their field and that is an important element for me.

What are your future aspirations?

My dream is to become an Occupational Therapist where I’ll be able to treat injured, ill, or disabled patients through the use of therapy in everyday activities; this is really interesting to me. I hope to help these patients develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.

How has the College supported you?

My confidence level has been positively influenced by everyone at the College. Through my work experience, I have learnt to focus my mind on what I need to do in order to achieve my dreams.

Do you have any advice for future students?

The best opportunity for any young person is education because it opens a lot of doors for the future and should not be taken for granted. Always try your best and never give up, particularly during the difficult times.

What’s next for you?

Once I complete my Level 2 Health and Social Care course at Croydon College, I will continue my studies at university in order to become an Occupational Therapist.
