Croydon College is working with staff and students to raise awareness of all things ‘Prevent’ in November.

Prevent is part of the government’s counter terrorism strategy and our Awareness Week will give students the information they need to help safeguard themselves and their communities from the threat of terrorism. There will be expert talks, interactive sessions and a competition for students to get involved in.

The theme of the competition is ‘Prejudice to Kindness’ and students can enter one of the following 5 categories:

  • Photography
  • Poetry
  • Essay
  • Art
  • Short Film

The deadline for the competition is Sunday 15 November 2020 at 12:00pm. JD Sports and restaurant vouchers will be awarded to a winner and runner-up in each category.

Students can access further details of Prevent Awareness Week on Moodle.
