At Croydon College, we have put the capital funding provided by the DFE to excellent use by renovating and smartening-up various parts of the building and facilities.

From 8 March, Croydon College unveiled it’s new-look IT rooms and toilets to students upon their return. The fully refurbished IT facilities have been installed with the latest teaching technology and Wi-Fi, as well as low energy LED lighting systems that significantly reduce energy consumption.

The Health and Social Care department have also had a re-vamp which saw classrooms updated with the latest teaching resources.

At Croydon College we want all our students to have pleasant learning environments so we are also in the process of bidding for more capital funding from the DFE to continue our renovations and much needed maintenance.

Paul Marsden, Director of IT & Estates, said, “We are delighted to be able to have this opportunity to provide our students with first class teaching facilities that also drive our Sustainability Strategy for the College.’

Sue McKeone, The Academic Leader for Business and IT, said “The rooms look amazing and the students just love to be in them now!’
