Businesses of Croydon celebrated another year of success at the 5th annual Croydon Business Excellence Awards on Thursday October 3 2019.

The celebration drew in over 450 people to The Grand Sapphire Hotel Banqueting Hall in Croydon, including Croydon College’s very own John McLean and Hollie Reynolds from the Apprenticeship team.

John, Head of Apprenticeships, said ‘We were extremely proud to sponsor the Apprentice Employer of the Year award and represent Croydon College at the prestigious ceremony. It was a difficult task to choose the winner, as we found all the finalists had different facets that embodied the programme but through a rigorous selection process, the Pension Protection Fund emerged as the first recipients. We are now looking forward to 2020!’

The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all, including Sales Manager of White Label Clare Shore, who said ‘It was a fantastic evening and really is an excellent and enlightening showcase of the many diverse businesses in our vibrant Borough.’

All of the money raised throughout the evening will be donated to local Croydon charities.

The organisers of The Croydon Business Excellence Awards 2019 gave their thanks to Croydon College for its sponsorship and support.
