Croydon College’s very own Principal and CEO, Caireen Mitchell, will be speaking at the Develop Croydon Virtual Conference on Thursday 19 November.

The half-day virtual conference will see a number of keynote and panel discussions focusing on not just the recovery of Croydon but growth and future opportunities. Topics will include:

  • Creating a sustainable transport network
  • Future proofing Croydon’s economy
  • Building for the Future
  • Education Foundations
  • District Centres

Having hosted the launch of Croydon’s Climate Commission, Croydon College is committed to Croydon’s green ambitions and to delivering the skills needed to sustain the borough’s future workforce. Following the recent announcement of our new partnership with the University of Roehampton, Principal and CEO Caireen Mitchell will be joining the panel debate in the Education Foundations session, discussing the next steps for Croydon’s skills sector.

Expect to see the following questions answered at the debate: What opportunities are there for the borough alongside the businesses and residents? What are the future skills needs and what impact will a strengthened education sector have on the wider economy?

If you’d like to see these questions answered, book your place at the virtual conference here.
