Results Day can be an emotional rollercoaster.

Irrespective of whether or not you received the grades you were hoping for, it’s essential to know that there are still plenty of options available to you.

Clearing is a process that allows you to enrol on a university course. It’s available to those who did not receive any offers, didn’t meet the conditions of their offers, or changed their mind and declined their offers.

As any other university in the UK, we offer clearing opportunities to students at our Croydon University Centre.

Navigating your way through Clearing

  1. Stay calm and assess your situation

Results Day can be stressful, but it is essential to stay calm and consider your options.

  1. Use the UCAS Clearing search tool to see what courses are available at our University Centre. Make a list of courses that are aligned with your career aspirations and qualifications.
  2. Before you give us a call on 020 8760 5934, gather all necessary information to enrol with us. This includes:
  • Your UCAS ID number
  • Your results
  • The courses you are interested in
  • Any enquiries you may have about the course or our University Centre.
  1. When you contact us, be ready to explain why you’ve chosen the course you are interested in.
  2. Once you receive an offer, this will be updated on your UCAS account. Follow the instructions promptly to ensure that your spot on the course is secured.

Clearing can be an opportunity to find the course that’s right for you, and it shouldn’t be viewed negatively.

Many students find success through clearing, so ensure that you explore your options.

Remember that this is one step in your educational journey and career goals, with many paths to success.

We wish you good luck and all the best in finding the perfect course!
