Why did you apply to Croydon College?

When I was exploring my College options, the courses that Croydon College offer really stood out compared to the rest. Croydon College also has a fantastic reputation so I knew it was the best option for me.

What have been your highlights whilst studying here at Croydon College?

I have loved meeting new people who you can talk to for advice based on past experiences.

Have you experienced any challenges and how have you overcome these?

At times I have struggled with meeting coursework deadlines as I can be slow at working since I can get easily distracted. However, I have set myself timers which have allowed me to have little breaks in between different sections of my work to avoid getting distracted whilst working.

How has the College supported you?

The College has always ensured that I have the correct resources for my studies, but particularly during lockdown. My Health and Social Care tutor, Jennifer, has been extremely helpful whilst I’ve been studying at home, and has sent me extra resources to assist me with my work.

Do you have any advice for future students?

My advice is to get involved in as many opportunities as you can, and make sure you keep up to date with all of your work so that you don’t drift behind.

What are your future aspirations?

I aspire to go into Nursing and travel the world to help disadvantaged people who need support and treatment.
