Why did you apply to Croydon College?

I actually have family that work for the College and they told me how great the hairdressing department is.

What have been your highlights whilst studying here at Croydon College?

The teachers adapt their methods of teaching to suit every students’ learning style and it’s truly amazing. I have also enjoyed working with so many great people, and meeting the wonderful clients who come into the salon.

Have you experienced any challenges?

At first, I struggled with my communication skills and using the correct terminology in consultations. But with the help of my teacher Sam, and filling out a word glossary, I have overcome this.

How has the College supported you during your studies?

Luckily, I was allowed to join the course 4 months into the academic year. I was warmly welcomed by everyone involved at the College and encouraged to achieve all my goals.

Do you have any advice for prospective students?

Come prepared and focused on what you want to achieve.

What are your future aspirations?

I would love to continue my studies and complete Level 2 and 3. Eventually, I aspire to own my very own successful salon.
