Art & Design – Level 1
This course introduces learners to a variety of materials and techniques that will help them progress to further learning. Learners will acquire and develop their skills and knowledge over the course of the year, learning the transferable and specific sector skills relevant for their success.
Art & Design, Photography and Fashion – Level 2
Students will develop new ways of thinking about Art & Design and other pathways such as illustration, image making and photography. Students apply research techniques, improve sketching, drawing and painting skills as well as work in ceramics, sculpting, graphic design and print making.
Art & Design – Level 3
This exciting course is designed to introduce an advanced insight to Art and Design which gives learners the opportunity to acquire and develop specialist, transferable and industry-specific skills in order to complete tasks and demonstrate a higher level of achievement that enables them to progress to higher learning, or creative apprenticeships for progression.
Digital Media – Level 1
This course is a perfect course for anyone who is looking to gain a solid foundation in the exciting and rapidly growing field of digital media. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to a wide range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge that will prepare them for a successful career in the digital media industry.
ESPORTS – Level 2
This course specialises in a specific occupation, occupational area or technical role. It prepares learners for work or an Apprenticeship by giving them the opportunity to develop sector-specific knowledge, technical and practical skills, and to apply these skills in work-related environments. The qualification also provides progression to Level 3 qualifications.
ESPORTS – Level 3
The course is an intermediate qualification for post-16 learners who want to specialise in a specific occupation, occupational area or technical role. It prepares learners for work or an Apprenticeship by giving them the opportunity to develop sector-specific knowledge, technical and practical skills, and to apply these skills in work-related environments.
Fashion & Textiles – Level 3
This course is designed to give learners a creative and technical understanding of fashion and textile design, and to explore the different disciplines within the fashion industry through workshops and projects. Students will engage in a multitude of subject areas.
Games & Animation – Level 2
This course allows learners to specialise in Games and Animation giving the learner the opportunity to develop transferable skills related to study and vocational application that provide a platform for success both within Art and Design and elsewhere.
Games, Animation & DIGITAL Media – Level 3
This course is designed to give learners a technical understanding of film and television visual effects. Learners produce film and television visual effects through practical projects and gain knowledge and skills in areas such as storyboarding, 2D and 3D animation, compositing and rendering techniques.
MUSIC – Level 2
This course is designed to give learners the skills to start a career in music including: Composing tracks using DAWs such as Logic Pro and Ableton Recording vocals and instruments in industry standard studios Studying the music industry.
MUSIC – Level 3
This course is designed to give learners industry standard studio spaces to produce and record tracks. At the end of each year you will put on a gig showing your skills as producers, sound engineers and performers. You will be creating the styles of music you want to, enabling you to form who you are as an artist or producer.
Performing Arts – Level 3
This course has been designed to allow learners with a passion for acting and performing, regardless of their previous training or level of knowledge, to acquire the practical skills and subject knowledge to progress. The aim of the course is to introduce you to the fundamentals of acting and performing with a view to progress to higher education or the industry.
Photography – Level 3
On this course you will be taught a wide range of techniques and application of photography. These will include photographic studio practice, darkroom, digital photography, digital postproduction, exhibiting work, alternative analogue processes, location photography, portrait, and landscape photography.
