We enjoyed a whole week of activity for National Careers Week (7-11 March), including an employability session from Reed Recruitment Agency.

More than 100 students gained valuable insights, including expert tips and advice on how to write a great CV, and how to create an attention-grabbing LinkedIn profile. Students were also able to work together, explore ideas, and ask questions.

Bharvi Patel, regional manager at Reed, said the event was “a great opportunity to share advice with students to support them in future job searches. Well done to everyone involved!”

Also as part of the week, Alfred Cardona, Head of Learning at Croydon College, and Nicola Tarry, Head of World of Work, joined Bonus Pastor Catholic College and delivered a presentation to Year 10 students on the new T Level courses and the value of Apprenticeships.

Bonus Pastor said on LinkedIn: “Thank you to Croydon College for presenting a fantastic assembly on T Levels and Apprenticeship pathways to our Year 10s. An inspirational and informative assembly to help our students start thinking more about their post-16 options.”
