Kira Freije post-visit to CC

Artist Kira Freije came in to the College to deliver the fourth in a series of talks and tutorials provided by Turf Projects to our Creative Arts students. Kira spoke about the work from her Turf exhibition ‘Companion to a Fall’ which ran from 23Nov – 15th December 2018.

The students discussed making sculptural installations and Kira explained how she works with ideas around complicity and culpability. The students were given insights into thinking about how we choose what thoughts to embody or enact and the moralistic mechanisms that inhibit or propel us.
