Students from Croydon School of Creative Arts have been lucky enough to join workshops in the ‘Members Lounge’ of Paradise Bar by Offset Projects. This is a virtual space for 16-25 year old creatives to connect with peers and meet the performers of Paradise Bar: This gave the students the opportunity to learn from professionals about creative careers including theatre, production, sound design, music and poetry.

Tara from Offset Projects said, “It was a pleasure to work with Croydon College. The students engaged well and were pleased for the chance to access a range of creative professionals in an informal but informative session.  It was also a privilege to have some of the students share with us examples of their own artistic practice and ambitions.”

Based off of such a positive response, Offset Projects have offered to share any future career opportunities with our students. They will also be formally inviting the staff and students of Croydon School of Creative Arts to be one of the first to see the final film of the ‘Members lounge’ Paradise Bar workshops.

We hope to work more with Offset Projects and Paradise Bar in the future, mutually supporting our young creatives. See more information about there upcoming projects here.
