CUC students were invited to attend a zoom function which took place on Friday 23 November named ‘Being Part of the Edmund Burke Society’, hosted by Judge Ian Morley.

Judge Ian Morley was invited from his chambers in Antigua and Barbuda in the Caribbean Court of Justice to discuss his work, history, advocacy training, travels and the Caribbean. Judge Morley openly discussed the cases that he had previously judged which included examples of Money Laundering and Turf Wars.

Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Business and Management/ Law Aliya Mullani, and Lecturer Chris Reeve were present alongside students, Shyam Pillai, Andrea Ilca, and Damien Van Zyl.

Aliya said, ‘It was an honour to attend such an event and hear from the Author of the ‘Devils Advocate’. CUC are very proud to have been present at the event.’
