Why did you apply to Croydon College?

Croydon College stands out from the other Colleges in the area due to the many great facilities, courses and student support services on offer which will help me plan my future.

What have been your highlights whilst studying here at Croydon College?

I have enjoyed so many moments with my friends, colleagues and teachers who have taught me during this year.

Have you experienced any challenges?

I’ve struggled with time management and moments of feeling low. Instead of complaining about how hard certain things were, such as meeting coursework deadlines, I turned those feelings into positive thoughts about my future. My tutor Jennifer helped me to put these into action points.

How has the College supported you?

Croydon College has a state-of-the-art library which provides fantastic core textbooks, revision guides and other resources to help with your studies. There are also plenty of computers for students to use at any time to complete their work.

Do you have any advice for future students?

Push yourself even if you feel like giving up. Your teachers are on hand to provide advice and guidance don’t be shy asking them for help!

What are your future aspirations?

After I complete Level 2 Health and Social Care, I will go onto the Level 3 courses that will then enable me to go to University so I can pursue a career in the health care sector.
