The Fair Field is an ambitious scheme to build a world-class public space that will surround the infamous Fairfield Halls. It will improve links with the rest of the town centre and create a destination space for locals and visitors.

There are various free public engagement activities that you can attend where you can help develop a fantastic design for the Fair Field public space including:

  • A public exhibition of the proposals in the Fairfield Halls starting Thursday 13 February till Sunday 8 March from 10am-6pm everyday
  • There will be members of the project team attending the exhibition on Thursday 27 February 3:30pm-7:30pm and Saturday 7 March 12pm-4pm
  • Workshops with author John Grindrod and artists from Turf Projects on Thursday 13, Thursday 20 and Saturday 29 February
  • Join the design team on Saturday 29 February
