The FTF Academy at Croydon College and Coulsdon College has been on a rise and continues to soar. On the 2 of November, the Under 19s girls’ team travelled to Barnet FC training ground to compete in their regional tournament. Although they ultimately suffered defeat by losing 1- 0 to Tottenham Girls’ U19s in the last 45 seconds of the match, the team put on a valiant display throughout the tournament winning three out of their four matches. The U19s girls’ team beat Leyton College with an astonishing 7-0 win and West Ham U19s 6-0! Players of the tournament were Megan Perkins and Shania Forbes who scored eight goals (each or between them??).

Our Under 19s boys’ team, who are the current and defending champions, sit at the top of their league having defeated West Thames College 10-2! Another excellent performance. Next week the team travels to professional club, Dagenham and Redbridge FC, for the National Cup.

FTF aims to develop and improve the individual technically, physically and mentally for a high level of football.” – FTF Academy.
