Vice-president of international marketing for Subway and Croydon College alumni Louise Wardle hosted an online talk on Tuesday 2 March 1:30pm-2:30pm for current students to attend as part of our Inspiring Career Choices programme. The Inspiring Career Choices programme is designed to inspire our current students to follow their career dreams by hearing from our inspirational alumni. Louise moved from rural Norfolk to Croydon College in the mid-90’s to study an HND in Graphic Design and proved to be a pivotal time in her life as it set her on a pathway to success. Following her Croydon College days, Louise started off as a Brand Manager for Regent Inns, Assistant Scheme Manager for the Boots Advantage Card, Senior Marketing Manager and Commercial Director for the Pub chain Greene King, Vice President of Marketing for Pizza chain Papa John’s, and now finds herself as Vice President of International Marketing for the world’s largest fast food restaurant chain Subway. Louise used this opportunity to inspire current Croydon College students to follow their dreams just as she did. Commenting on her talk, Louise said ‘I look back on such fond memories at Croydon College. I’m relishing the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with current students to inspire them.’
