What made you choose this course?
I’ve always wanted to work in a role that makes a difference — possibly in teaching, a hospital setting, or in childcare supporting children with special educational needs. This course gives me the foundation and experience to explore those paths.

Why did you decide to study at Croydon College?
Croydon College felt much more organised and welcoming compared to my previous school. Everything was clearly set out from the start — from timetables to lessons — and it’s in a really convenient location too.

What do you enjoy most about your course?
I really enjoy the people and the atmosphere in class. The course is informative and everything we learn feels genuinely relevant to what we’ll be doing in the future.

How are you finding the teaching/support?
I love it! My tutor is so approachable and bubbly. We do lots of different activities — group work, making posters, presentations — and it really helps build confidence and teamwork.

Are there any specific goals or career plans you have after completing this course?
I’m still deciding which career path to take, but the placements we do are amazing for helping us figure that out. They give you real insight into different roles and what might suit you best.

Would you recommend Croydon College to a future student? If so, why?
Definitely! It’s such a supportive environment with so much going on. Everyone — staff and students — is friendly and encouraging. It’s a really nice place to study, and it feels very different from the reputation people might associate with the area.
