My future goal is to become a beauty therapist and eventually open my own salon, and this course gives me the skills and experience I need to work towards that dream.
Why did you decide to study at Croydon College?
Croydon College is close to my home, and a friend recommended the course to me. After looking into it, I felt it was the perfect place to start my journey in the beauty industry.
What do you enjoy most about your course?
I love the practical side of the course — the hands-on experience is amazing and really helps build confidence in real salon skills.
How are you finding the teaching/support?
The teachers are great. They’re very supportive, they listen, and they’re always willing to help us improve and reach our goals.
Are there any specific goals or career plans you have after completing this course?
This is my third year, and I’m still really motivated to stay in education and complete another qualification. I’m hoping to find a part-time job while continuing my studies, and in the future, I want to open my own salon.
Would you recommend Croydon College to a future student? If so, why?
Yes, definitely. I love the environment here and I’m really enjoying my third year at the college — it’s been a great place to learn and grow.
