English students at Croydon College took part in the London Metropolitan University’s ‘Big Writing Challenge’ just before Christmas. This was a great opportunity for the students to express their imagination through their words. We are proud to announce that the students have now progressed to the second stage of the competition.

The second stage is the ’Bootcamp’ at London Metropolitan University, with publishing industry guests present. It will take place during the week of March 6th and will involve a morning session during which students will hone their writing skills.

Under the guidance and tutelage of their teachers, the students are working on their writing skills so that they are prepared for the competition. This a great opportunity for students to gain a good knowledge of how the industry works.

If you have a creative flair, vivid imagination and a way with words, one of our English courses could be ideal for you. Find out more here.
